What is Model United Nations?
Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At a MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.
What is the procedure of the conference?
Conference procedure will be the Harvard procedure.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, all participants must wear formal clothes throughout the conference.
Is previous experience required to apply as a Delegate?
There are no experience requirements for applying to a GA committee, but to apply to a special committee you should have at least two MUN experiences.
What is included in my registration?
It's included social events, MUNER stationary, lunch, beverages and snacks
I am a first-timer, which committee should I apply to?
We recommend you to apply to our UNWOMEN or WHO committees.
What about age requirements?
Any and all delegates attending high school or a higher education institution can attend to our conference.
What happens if a delegate misses a session?
A delegate can miss one session with an excuse. However, if a delegate misses 2 sessions, then the delegate can not get any awards. If a delegate misses 3 sessions in total, then the delegate can not get their certification of participation.
