NATO
NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) is a political and military alliance established after the World War II between the countries in Europe and North America. Since the day the alliance was born protecting and developing it’s members’ security system and secure their political stance was aimed.
Hybrid attacks combine military and non-military to maximize their assault. Such as information manipulation, cyberattacks, economic influence or coercion, covert political manoeuvring, coercive diplomacy, or threats of military force. NATO allies face threats and challenges from both state and non-state actors who use hybrid activities to target political institutions, influence public opinion and undermine the security of NATO citizens. The speed, scale and intensity of hybrid threats have increased in recent years. Since then NATO has recognized hybrid attacks as a major issue.
